What is Goaley?
Goaley is an iPhone savings goal tracker. You set a target and a deadline for each goal, and it splits what is left into weekly, every-two-weeks or monthly contributions with a date on each. See the savings plan.
Is Goaley free?
Yes, it is free to download, with optional Goaley Pro. Pro unlocks unlimited goals, contributions, accounts and savings plans, deeper charts, widgets and customization. See the App Store page for current prices.
Does Goaley connect to my bank?
No. Goaley needs no bank connection and no account. You record each contribution yourself. See privacy.
Does Goaley move money for me?
No. Goaley plans and tracks your saving. You move the money yourself, then record the contribution.
Which phones does Goaley run on?
iPhone, on iOS 18 or later. It includes Home Screen widgets, Siri and Shortcuts.
How does Goaley decide how much to save?
It subtracts what you have saved from the target and divides the rest by the number of contributions left before the deadline. A $4,000 goal with $3,000 saved and five months left is $200 a month. Try it in the savings goal calculator.
How do I know if I am on track?
Each goal shows a Savings Plan status, the next contribution with its date, and how your progress compares with where the calendar says you should be.
Can I track more than one goal?
Yes. Goaley tracks multiple goals and accounts. Unlimited goals, contributions, accounts and savings plans are part of Goaley Pro.
Can I save from a widget or with Siri?
Yes. The Home Screen widget can add the next planned contribution, and Siri and Shortcuts support Quick Save. Widgets are part of Goaley Pro. See widgets and Siri.
Can I act on a reminder without opening the app?
Yes. You can save or snooze a planned contribution from its notification. Reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
Which currencies does Goaley support?
More than 50. Converting between currencies uses the European Central Bank's daily reference rates, which update once per business day and do not include bank fees.
Does Goaley sync between my devices?
Yes, through iCloud. Sign in to the same Apple Account with iCloud Drive turned on for Goaley on each device, then open the app on both while online. Sync can take a few minutes.
Where is my data stored?
On your device. If iCloud sync is on, it is also in your private iCloud database. The developer cannot see or access your iCloud data.
Does Goaley use AI?
Smart features use Apple Intelligence, either on your device or on Apple's Private Cloud Compute. Your data is not sent to the developer's servers or to any other AI provider.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open the Goaley Pro screen in the app and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Goaley.
Which languages is Goaley available in?
The App Store listing is available in English, German, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified) and Chinese (Traditional).
How do I contact support?
Use Send Feedback in the app's Settings, which includes the details needed to help, or see support. Replies usually take up to two business days.
